EBSCO offers the following three databases:

Use Kids Search to search by topic through an image database,
the American Heritage Children's Dictionary, and the Funk and
Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia.

Use Searchasaurus to research children's magazines, the
Encyclopedia of Animals, and the Funk and Wagnalls New
World Encyclopedia.

EBSCO Animals has thousands of easy-to-read entries
about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, dinosaurs and
prehistoric animals. Many entries include colorful images.
Use Grolier Online Kids to search an atlas, a today in history feature,
and current news articles.Students can search the New Book of
Knowledge, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, the Encyclopedia
Americana, Lands and Peoples, America the Beautiful, and the New
Book of Popular Science. For grades 3-5.
Use Kids InfoBits to search newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias,
dictionaries, and other online publications. This database covers
geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government,
history, sports and more.

Use Sirs Discoverer to find information in magazines, newspapers,
U.S. government documents, and websites.Titles include: Cricket,
Current Science, Highlights for Children, National Geographic Kids,
Ranger Rick, Time for Kids, and Weekly Reader.

Use Web Feet to search the internet for web sites that relate to your
research on classroom topics in math, social studies, science, arts and
more.

Use World Book Online to search articles as well as pictures and
animations. Many articles contain links to related encyclopedia
information, websites, and magazine articles.. You can also browse
the following by title: atlas maps, tables, sounds, 360-degree views,
pictures, animations and videos, back in time articles, and special reports.
